First, I want to wish you a happy new year. I hope this year provides you joy, happiness, stability, and continued growth. 2022 was amazing for some and presented challenges for others. I hope that you turn those challenges into stepping stones and keep stepping towards your blessings.
I was blessed beyond measure, even during the challenging times. Due to inflation, which has affected everyone, I had to rethink and reevaluate my expenditures to make sure I was living within my means. This can be challenging. My budget is still a work in progress to make sure I am making the most out of my paychecks.
With the new year, we have to make new goals and try to stick with them. Please see a list of my three goals below:
- Goal 1: Decrease my added sugar intake. This means reducing/eliminating drinks with added sugar, candy, breads, pasta, and all those other products that has sugar that no one knew was there.
- Goal 2: Exercise for 30 minutes a day, at least 4 days a week
- Goal 3: Sale 20 books a month. My goal for January was already accomplished, as more that 20 books was recently purchased.
Have you set your goals for the year. My suggestion for you if you have not set your goals is to start small with 1 – 3 goals, work on adjusting goals from last year, and find a way to have fun.
