Missy Sees Beauty

This is so exciting! I love seeing good people win. I also love when they open themselves up to the world to display their creative talents. That is exactly what Kellie D has done. She has opened up herself to the world to showcase her talents in writing and her love for poetry, children, diversity, and God.

I remember freshman year in college, when I first met her. She was so kind and funny. We often interacted during our many library visits, as we worked towards staying on task, being organized, and getting a handle on our term papers. Matter of fact, I think that’s where we first met. We stayed at the library until it closed, ate lunch together, and talked about writing and poetry. We even submitted our writing to a contest for the Quiz and Quill at school. Or at least I think we did. Lol!

As adults, we often forget to follow our dreams and put as much determination into ourselves as we do our jobs, loved ones, and other people. This is the exact reason I am so happy for her. She is a good person and deserves all the blessings come her way. She deserves to win as do other people who have unselfishly considered others before themselves.

Now, I want you to stop what you are doing and go buy Kellie’s first Children’s Book. This book will have you smiling from ear-to-ear at the beautiful pictures, rhythmic transitions, and the amount of awareness for children and helping them be self aware, considerate, and express their feelings and emotions.

Great job Kellie and welcome to the wonderful world of authorship.
