How Do You Measure Success?

Hey peeps!

I hope you are having an amazing day. In creating content for 30+ days, I thought I would focus on success, motivation, talent, and igniting the fire burning deep inside you.

We all need a little motivation every now and again. When you think about success, how do you measure it? Success is measured differently by many people. Some people measure success regarding 6 likes and 500 views or 25 likes and 30 comments. While other people measure it by how many products and services they have produced for their consumers.

There’s no right or wrong way to measure success. You just have to identify how you will measure success in the future. You will want to make sure you don’t measure success by the amount of likes and shares you receive. This may not be a true indication of success. You also do not what to train yourself to believe likes equals success, which isn’t true.

Ways in which I measure success is by reflecting on past and current information, such as page views, book sales, and programs I am being invited to speak at or attend. An example of this is my book sales, page views, and interactions with my page has doubled. I have also been awarded various opportunities to speak with college students, preschool children, and complete discussions to bring light towards difficult conversations.

I am saying this to say, you have to measure success on your terms, using your tools for success. There’s no other way or you’ll become accustomed to comparing yourself to others when trying to identify your goals, objectives, and measures of success.
