Welcome Author Jamilah Ewing to the Read to Lead/Write to Enlight Book Festival. Jamilah is a native of Mansfield, Ohio. She started her career as a professional hair stylist. Her journey led her to Columbus, where she opened her own salon, Mahogany Design Studio. In between clients, Jamilah penned The Prototype: A Story of True Love. Jamilah enjoys spending time with her family, perusing record stores, and enjoying a good latte.

Throughout her journey, Jadirah is striving to maintain her mental, physical, and spiritual health after public shame and loss.
