New Face of Disabilities
Over the last 18 years, I have worked for a nursing home, day Rehab Program, Community Rehabilitation Partner, and now as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, all of which served individuals with developmental and mental health diagnoses.
In 2015, I wrote a self-help book for new individuals working in the field, natural supports, families, and individuals with developmental disabilities looking to gain competitive employment. The intent of the book is to provide terminology of VR language, definitions to diagnoses as identified by #CDC and #NIH and more.The book includes the following chapters
