I remember the first time I ever encountered a computer. I was around 10 years old and it was at my aunt’s house. The interesting part is that there was some type of code she had to type in to get everything started. Once it was ready, it would go to a black screen. She would then have to type in something else to take it to another screen. The monitor was big and bulky. Very similar to an early TV set.

Fast forward about 12 years later, I was out of college and I purchased my first desktop. This is around the time they had just started making flat screen monitors. The hard drive was still big and bulky, but I loved that computer. It had all my early writings on it, music, and all the tools I used to become an author/publisher.
