What do you think gets better with age?
Some times we make decisions without fully understanding the decision we have made. Take for instance a person who has kids compared to someone who does not. These are two different lifestyles and two different approaches. While the individual without kids may think he understands what it feels like to have kids because he has helped raise his nieces and nephews, he does not fully understand what it feels like to be a parent.

Being a parent and having kids are two totally different things. You can have kids for the day and not be a parent. You can also be a parent and not understand what it means to be a parent.
Recently, my husband gave me my props for raising our daughters. He commended me for waking up early, taking care of the kids, and just being motherly. He recognized my charge and understood all that I sacrificed for the family. If we both were in our early 20’s, this conversation may have started and ended a little different. We are in a place of understanding right now. We don’t want to fight. We want to understand each other so our daughters with have great relationships and understanding with others.
Much success on your journey to understanding
