
Remember learning about B.C and A.D. in school? Well this reference is B.A and A.A. (Before Amira and After Amira).
I use to be a lacto-ovo vegetarian B.A. I only ate fruits, vegetables, eggs, and milk products. My ultimate plan was to become vegan. Kudos to all those living a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle. Finding products without animal byproducts is a challenge because even toothpaste includes animal byproducts. It’s challenging, but it can be done.
A.A., I now consume beef, chicken, and fish. During my pregnancy, my body said enough of these fruits and vegetables. Give me something my body needs to get moving and grooving. I am not saying that people can’t be vegetarian or vegan, while pregnant. It just wasn’t in the cards for me.
